The fellowship is open to final-year university students, recent graduates, and young creative professionals who are interested in pursuing careers in advertising, branding, marketing communications, and related creative industries.
The D. A. Twum Jnr. Fellowship runs for three months. It is structured across three phases: Month 1 is the Masterclass Series, Month 2 is Industry Exposure, and Month 3 is the Capstone Project and Pitch Day.
Selected fellows receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the program. Details on the stipend amount are shared with shortlisted candidates during the selection process.
The fellowship welcomes applicants from advertising, communications, public relations, marketing, design, media studies, journalism, and related creative fields. Self-taught creatives with a strong portfolio are also encouraged to apply.
Applications are reviewed by the fellowship team. Shortlisted candidates are invited to a selection interview as part of the final assessment. Successful applicants are then formally notified and invited to join the fellowship.
No prior industry experience is required. The fellowship is specifically designed for emerging creatives at the beginning of their careers. What matters most is your passion for the marketing communications industry, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
